In a recurring theme, the Colorado Front Range resorts were again experiencing a lack of snow and warm, sunny skies... equating to below-average skiing in-bounds. However, with a decent amount of snow falling on Berthoud Pass in the last couple of weeks, we knew it could be good up there. Plus, it is always nice (and a good workout) to earn your turns once in a while, regardless of how crappy the snow is. Well, it turned out the snow wasn't so crappy. And the day was perfect.
