The first two days of our trip to the Faroes were spent hiking some of the coolest terrain we've seen anywhere on earth. The hike from Saksun to Tjornuvik (and back) is one of the best I've done anywhere, hiking a total of 8 miles between the two isolated coastal towns. Our second full day was spent hiking along the shores of Leitsvatn, the "hanging lake" that seems to float above the ocean!
