With a few inches of snow falling overnight and a few lingering showers in the morning, it was the perfect time for me to take pictures that I had envisioned for a while. I've seen these two "icons"- both located just minutes from our house- hundreds of times, but I never got the pictures I wanted. Before the sun came out this morning I got out in the freezing cold (11 degrees!) and captured the shots I wanted. Simple, but exactly how I pictured them.
