It's been a pretty rough snow year for the Colorado resorts (and just about everyone). On President's Day, however, Steamboat Ski Resort reported 27" of snow overnight. That report was followed by 12" on Monday night and another 12" on Tuesday night.... four feet in four days was reason enough to call in sick and make the three-hour drive. John, Jason, Mark, Jay and I did our best to find the deepest snow on the mountain despite none of us being familiar with the terrain. It was just what the doctor ordered for our winter-long powder fever.
