Despite a comedy of errors (broken ski pole, boots that wouldn't fit into bindings, one guy getting temporarily lost), it was a relatively nice day out in the Indian Peaks backcountry. Oh, and if you discount the 30-40 mph winds too. But other than that, it was nice to be out with a few friends away from the crowds!
